Vibrant Venues full of Character

Most of my all-time favourite weddings have been in London so if you are getting married here I’d love to be part of it and let me show you some great venues. In this post, there are the venues I have photographed at and really loved. From Trinity Buoy Wharf, Asylum Chapel in Peckham to East London’s Core Clapton and Central London’s Century Club Soho. If you’re looking for space that has a relaxed and fun vibe, stylish yet chic, modern yet full of character infused with history and culture… I’ve been a London wedding photographer for over 10 years and here are a few that I can highly recommend.

The Hoxton Hall – a beautiful intimate theatre full of character. East London’s theatre space and not only for wedding but all kinds of events and music gigs.

Trinity Buoy Wharf – an industrial bright large warehouse with a lighthouse! An absolutely stunning venue right opposite of the O2.

The Bingham Riverhouse in Richmond is simply stunning. This peaceful hotel is overlooking the river with a lot foliage, with a feel like somewhere on holiday.

The London Canal Museum is a unique venue with history of London’s canals and imported ice. A cool and intimate venue with a laid-back vibe.

The Century Club Soho – a central London’s exclusive members club – one vibrant, fun, stylish, and intimate wedding venue. And much more…

The Shard Shangri-La – Not only elegant and stylish wedding experience but this is also one fun venue with wonderful views and always a bright day.

Mayfair Library – a central London’s library – the Westminster register office. An amazing historical building and it’s a library! Something for the book lovers couples.

The Electrician Room – London’s coolest industrial ceremony room, at the Trinity Buoy Wharf. This is a truly special room to have a very intimate and romantic ceremony.

Bistrotheque – a stylish venue and delicious food. East London’s stunning quality restaurant and any event hire. This is one bright, unique and guaranteed fun for your family and friends.

6 St Chad’s Place – now called Meat Liquor King’s X – is a restaurant and bar, one of the coolest London’s restaurants with a good vibe and urban surroundings.

Asylum Chapel in Peckham – this must be the most romantic and alternative venue. The Chapel was bombed in WWII, full of character, candles and peaceful energy.

Fiume Restaurant – a modern elegant bar and restaurant overlooking the Thames, with authentic fresh Italian cuisine. And apart from tasty food it is a great London wedding venue!

Brixton East – a funky old warehouse in South London, with fun party vibe for a wedding reception in style.

Islington Town Hall – East London’s register office – one of the most attractive London’s venues. This is a great mix of modern design with art deco. Simply vibrant and beautiful.

The Core Clapton – East London’s amazing space.  You can have the ceremony as well as the reception here. A bright and simply beautiful venue – spacious, stylish and urban.

The Ace Hotel in Shoreditch is a stylish rooftop event space with a relaxed vibe and great views from a private terrace.
